My Mumbai to Varanasi Trip by Indian Railway.

Indian Railways is the most popular and cheap mode of travel in India, and it has become so because of its remarkable efficiency and connectivity.

If you want to see real India and mixture of different cultures on one stage you should book a Railway ticket in India.

I love to travel by Railway. Specially in sleeper coach, it gives you chance to meet typical middle class families and their cultures. You will find some new and interesting people in every journey by railway in india

It was Holi time, I was going with my family to celebrate Holy festival at my village Varanasi. We got 5 confirm tickets, as we booked them 2 month before.

After we set on our birth, My 3 year old niece Aditi was so happy, as she loves to travel. Every one could see her happiness which was a good moment to take nice click of her.

It was night train so we just had dinner and went to sleep in 1 hours, But I like to woke at trains, no matters if its 3 am. I slept at 2 Am and waked up at 3.15, It was a small station, no halt for our train, but due to red signal train halted here. And tea vendors started shouting like chai wala chaeeee garam chayeeee...

it was some cold night so people some people was buying tea , I landed to platform to enjoy cool environment.

there were only 10 to 15 people at platform they are also travelers from our trains, were chatting to each others.

Just near platform there was some trees and plants of small flowers, I could feel the fragrance of night, what a great experience that was!

well after 15 minute train got green signal and leave from station. people started running to catch trains. I also rush to my coach and pushed a man to go up fast in coach. after we both got up he started laughing as he enjoyed to catch running train. Lolz...

I came to my birth, all people was still sleeping, after some time a tea vendor came and people started to wake up. I gone to bathroom to make myself fresh. surprisingly The toilet was clean as it was not expected. Mom dad Aditi all woke up and become fresh, after that we takes some tea from chai wala..

It was nice morning so I started to click some pics from window, 

Black Fog From Diesel Engine

I like to click picture every time when in travel by train, Shining railway tracks between jungle and diesel loco engine pulling cars and making some black fog, smells great.

You can see Villagers are busy to cleaning cloths and bathing in small rivers below railway bridge,

I like all these scenes, you can feel it by open window, if you are in sleeper class. Even you can feel of being there at every location which you see out of window.

Small River In Maharashtra

It was two night journey from Mumbai to varansi, 2nd night I need to sleep, as I slept less than 2 hours at previous night. So tried to sleep this night but I cant, due to some idiots who where fighting in next compartment due to lowed shouting, They disturbed all people who were trying to sleep. After they ended their fight the man sitting opposite my compartment started to play loud songs in his mobile, what the manner less bull he is? It was 2 Am all people was sleeping and that idiot is playing songs loudly. WTF....

I told him to keep volume low or use earplug, but he ignored, again after 5 minute I shouted loudly to keep his mobile volume low this time my voice attracted to some more passangers and they also shouted him to off his songs, this time that guy has no option and he off his songs.

I slept and woke up in just 2 hours as our train timing was 4.50 AM to reach at Varansi.

I waken up to my family and told them to become fresh and pack all their stuffs and get ready. I came near door to watch the morning it was so cool and foggy morning which make me so fresh.

It was surprise to see that our train was reached at Varansi 10 minutes before the actual time. Its Indian Railway, all miracles can be happen here.

Any way we came out of station and take a rickshaw for our village, It was some dark so we decided to stop rickshaw at a tea stall and enjoyed tea with group of some old man who were talking about politics.

After ending tea we continued to our way, road was between green farm we saw some peacocks, it was nice feeling of nature. After 1 hour we finally reached to our home, and our travel ends up with a refreshing morning :)
